Hello Dave
I gather you have joined the rising number of guitarists who have discovered the talent of luthier Alan Arnold....Well done. I found the guy some years ago at a concert by Mary Flower...she was playing one of resonators...I contacted him, ordered a guitar (a Phoenix in High Figure Quilted Sapele) and am now on the brink of ordering another....a Resonator.
I live in France now and play at various do's, but love acoustic guitars and talking about them, so if ever you get the urge to chat give me a call or drop me an e-mail. I know AA well so if theres anything you want to talk about please feel free to do so. I'm sure you will love your guitar. I was the bloke who urged him to build it completely from Pomelle Mahogany, so its all my fault....blame me.
Anyway, hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine.

Dave! found you at last. Have been meaning to contact you for ages.
Looks like you are a bit of a "Super Star" now.
I still remember your rendition of "Me Feet hurt" and the song with the chorus " ..will you meet me after school, shall we break every rule... I know your leaving on Friday and I just can't think of a single word to say" , or something like that. Also remember our first (and only) attempt at being a Barn Dance Band, I have to say I did progress into several other bands and a fair bit of Dance Calling after that.
We need to catch up!
